The Etude Concept and Analysis

The F Blues Etude is based on a very simple concept of landing the two most self-identifying notes of the chord in question. Namely, the 3rd and the flatted 7th of the dominant chord.

For example, in an F7 chord, A is the 3rd and Eb is the flatted 7th.
