This morning, Saturday, August 22, I started Beachbody.com’s latest fitness program, Insanity. After completing two successful rounds of P90X, I felt I needed a change, with a return to P90X after the 60-Day Insanity program.

Today, Day 1, started with a Dig Deeper introduction by Shaun T, and the Fit Test, which consists of one-minute, max reps of the following:

  1. Switch Kicks
  2. Power Jack
  3. Power Knees
  4. Power Jumps
  5. Globe Jumps
  6. Suicide Jumps
  7. Push-Up Jacks
  8. Low Plank Oblique

There were two other people doing the fitness test exercises, along with Shaun T’s explanation and demonstrations. It is interesting to see their day 1 numbers contrasted with their day 60 numbers. Needless to say, the Fitness Test was difficult, however, I am definitely excited to see what tomorrow’s Plyometric Cardio Circuit brings.
